    All purpose flour

    Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon
    Baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon
    Salt
  • 1 cup
    Butter
  • 1 cup
    Sugar
  • 1 cup
    Brown sugar, Firmly packed
  • 2
    Eggs
  • 1½ cups
    Peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon
    Vanilla
  • ½ cup
    Chocolate chips optional
  • ½ cup
    Walnuts, Chopped optional
  • 1 cup
    Rolled oats optional
  • Reeses pieces optional

Preparation

  1. 10 mins

    Sift the flour with baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

  2. 8 mins

    Separately cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. 10 mins

    Add eggs and vanilla to creamed sugar and mix until combined, then add peanut butter and mix again.

  4. 15 mins

    Add the flour in small batches and mix until uniform. Add any extras and mix.

  5. 1 hr

    Chill dough

  6. Preheat oven to 350°F and dark baking sheet. If lighter baking sheet, bake at 375°.

  7. 10 mins

    Use .25 oz scoop and flatten cookies with a fork.

  8. 10 mins

    Bake!

  9. Take out of the oven. If using, push reeses pieces into the tops.

  10. 20 mins

    Let sit for 10 minutes, then move to wire rack for 10 minutes.
