Preparation

  1. 15 mins

Pre-heat oven. Toast at 325 for about 10 minutes, toasting frequently, so they heat evenly and get roasty-toasty to their core. They should smell lightly gorgeous, and not get too dark.

  2. 2 mins

While the nuts are still hot from the oven, gather them in a clean kitchen towel and rub off some of the skins. I don't worry about removing all the skins. I just give it the old college try and rub off whatever I can.

  3. 5 mins

Process in the food processor until they turn silky and smooth and buttery. Just keep processing, it will happen fairly suddenly and feel like magic.

  4. 1 min

Add salt and honey then blitz again quickly until just incorporated.
