cinc.kitchen aims to improve the utility of technology in the kitchen.
While we are starting with recipes, this won’t be just another recipe website. Instead, cinc.kitchen focuses on storing, manipulating, and presenting food data from a more rigorously technical point of view, while still placing emphasis on a quality user experience.
The data on the site comes from you – your recipes, your menus, your cookbooks. (But just recipes at the moment!) So please let us know if there are specific features or improvements you’d like to see!

“cinc” is pronounced like “sink” and translates to the number five in Catalan. It refers to the number of senses we use while cooking. It also conveniently functions as a good pun for things like “kitchen sink”, “sync(ed) kitchen”, etc.
The idea for the name comes directly from the very fine Barcelona restaurant Cinc Sentits.
