Listen mija, throw everything except that basil into your slow cooker - el pollo, los pimientos, cebolla, tomates, ajo, all the seasonings, todo junto.
Mix it all up with your hands like you mean it. Don't be shy - get in there and make sure that chicken is coated good.
Put the lid on and cook on low 7-8 hours or high 3-4 hours. Your kitchen's gonna smell like heaven, I promise you that. (The chicken should fall apart with a fork when it's ready)
Sprinkle that fresh basil on top before you serve it up with some white rice or yuca.
