Ingredients

  • fresh broccoli, cut into tiny florets
  • bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • ½ cup
    raisins
  • ½ cup
    dried cranberries
  • 3
    green onions, chopped
  • ¾ cup
    mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup
    sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons
    lemon juice, fresh
  • 1 cup
    sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste

Preparation

  1. Break up da broccoli into small florets - like quarter-size pieces, yeah. Toss with da crumbled bacon in one big salad bowl.

    Put da raisins and cranberries in warm water for about 5 minutes so they get all plump and juicy. Drain 'em good.

  3. Mix together da mayo, sour cream, and fresh lemon juice until smooth. Set aside.

  4. Add da chopped green onions and da plumped dried fruit to da broccoli and bacon. Season with salt and pepper, then mix everything up good.

  5. Pour da mayo dressing over everything and fold it in gently - you don't want to mash up da broccoli.

  6. Top with da shredded cheddar and serve. This one's ono cold, so can chill it for a bit if you like.
