    lemon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon
    cayenne pepper

    basa fillets
  • ½ cup
    flour

    egg, beaten

    buttermilk

Preparation

  1. Mix almonds, cheese, parsley, lemon pepper, cayenne in one bowl.

  2. Beat egg with buttermilk in another bowl.

  3. Pat fish dry. Dust with flour.

  4. Dip fish in egg mixture, then almond mixture. Press coating into flesh.

  5. Heat oil in heavy pan over medium heat.

    Cook fish 4 minutes per side until opaque.
