    smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
  • 1 cup
    dried pinto beans, soaked overnight
  • 1 cup
    dried great northern beans, soaked overnight
  • 4 cups
    vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon
    garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon
    liquid smoke
  • 2 tablespoons
    Louisiana hot sauce
  • ½ teaspoon
    black pepper, freshly ground

  1. Drain and rinse the soaked beans. Add them to your slow cooker along with the diced onion and sliced sausage.
