    zucchini, diced

    diced tomatoes, canned

    black beans, canned, drained

    jalapeños, minced

    dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon
    dried basil
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste

    garlic powder

Preparation

  1. Brown the sausage in a heavy pot over medium heat, breaking it into chunks as it cooks. Don't make it too fine.

  2. Drain the fat, leaving just a bit in the pot.
