Cook raw ribs at 350 degrees for 3-3.5 hours, using tin foil wrapped tightly.
While ribs are in the oven, combine all sauce ingredients in pot and simmer until integrated and slightly thickened. This will cook off the alcohol and leave the sweetness and depth of flavour.
Take ribs out of the oven, and pour the sauce over them, returning to the oven for the remaining 30 minutes of cook time. This shouldn't be to cook the sauce to the ribs, merely to marinade for a short time.
