Preparation

  1. Dump the chicken soup, mushroom soup, chicken broth, and chicken into a big pot. The 5-year-old can totally handle opening cans (with supervision).

  2. Sprinkle in the onion powder, seasoning salt, and garlic powder. Kids love being the seasoning sprinklers.

  3. Bring everything to a boil, then add the noodles. They don't need to be frozen — just dump them right in.

  4. 45 mins

Turn the heat down to low and let it bubble away for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. The noodles will get soft and the whole thing gets thick and cozy. (Don't worry if it looks soupy at first — the noodles will soak up a lot of liquid)

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken to save time, or throw in leftover chicken. The twins always ask for seconds.
