Mm, childhood.

This isn't so much a pie as it is a thick, gooey cookie baked into a pie shell.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup
    flour
  • 1 cup
    sugar
  • 2
    eggs, lightly beaten
  • ¼ pound
    butter, softened
  • ¼ teaspoon
    salt
  • 1 teaspoon
    vanilla
  • 1 cup
chopped walnut, Optional or replacable with pecans or some shizz but really it's best with the walnuts. optional
  • 1 cup
chocolate chips, I prefer dark, Jackie prefers milk, it's ultimately up to you. Just don't use Nestle; they suck.

    Stir in the eggs.

  3. 1 min

Beat in the butter, salt, and vanilla extract.

Notes

Aunt Jenny showed me the original, once. It came from the back of a bag of Tollhouse chocolate chips. You can still find Nestle's version on their website or licensed out to some manufactorers.

Aunt Jenny's is better.
