    parsley
  • 1 teaspoon
    rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon
    thyme
  • 1 tablespoon
    Worcestershire sauce

    garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons
    flour
  • 2 tablespoons
    tomato paste
  • 1 cup
    beef broth
  • 16 ounces
    frozen peas & carrots
  • salt + pepper
  • Potato Topping
  • 2 pounds
    russet potatoes, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 8 tablespoons
    butter
  • ⅓ cup
    milk
  • ½ teaspoon
    garlic powder
  • ½ cup
    parmesan cheese
  • salt + pepper

Preparation

  1. 5 mins

    In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef. Season and add parsley, rosemary, and thyme. Remove from pan and drain.

  2. 7 mins

    Add chopped onion and saute until soft and translucent. Deglaze the pan while stirring. Add back in the beef, and add garlic, and Worcestershire sauce.

  3. 15 mins

    Boil potatoes until fork tender.

  4. 5 mins

    Return potatoes to pot and add butter, milk, garlic powder, and cheese. Mash to desired consistency.

  5. Add filling to a large dutch oven (or other baking dish). Scoop mashed potatoes on top and spread evenly.

  6. 30 mins

    Bake for 30 mins at 425°F.
