Family buttermilk pancake recipe.

Ingredients

    eggs
  • 2 cups
    buttermilk
  • 1½ cups
    flour
  • 1 teaspoon
    baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon
    salt
  • 2 tablespoons
    sugar
  • ½ teaspoon
    baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons
    melted butter

Preparation

    Mix together dry ingredients.

    Beat eggs.

    Alternate adding dry ingredients and buttermilk to eggs.

    Add melted butter.

  5. 15 mins

    Cook in nonstick skillet using lots of butter. Pour about 1/4 cup or less of batter per pancake. When pancake starts to bubble, flip to cook other side. Second side cooks much faster than first.

Notes

Makes about 15 medium sized pancakes.
