Ingredients

    watermelon (seeded or seedless)
  • 1 cup
    mint
  • ½ cup
    sugar
  • 1 cup
    water

Preparation

  1. 10 mins

    Cut up watermelon and juice in blender, then strain it to isolate only the juice.

  2. 20 mins

    Boil the cup of water and dissolve a half cup of sugar and a half cup of mint (including stem). Mix to dissolve the sugar and let it cool.

    Strain the mint leaves/stem from the simple syrup solution.

  4. 1 sec

    Mix the watermelon juice and the mint simple syrup in a freezer container.

  5. 1 hr

    Freeze for one hour. Then, using a whisk, mix the ice on the edge of the container and center liquid to homogenize the solution. Repeat the next hour and add in remaining mint leaves.

  6. 4 hrs

    Freeze for 4 hours before serving.
