    confectioners' sugar

    crushed ice
  • 2.5 ounces
    bourbon

Preparation

  1. Add mint leaves, water, and confectioners' sugar to a blender. Pulse until the leaves are completely broken down.

  2. 3 secs

    Add half the ice and the bourbon. Blend for 3-4 seconds just to combine. (Don't over-blend or you'll dilute it too much)

  3. Fill a julep cup or rocks glass with the remaining crushed ice. Pour the mixture over the ice.

  4. Stir gently and garnish with the mint sprig. Serve immediately.
