Ingredients

  • ¼ cup
    packed brown sugar, omit for low carb optional
  • 2 tablespoons
    smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons
    flaked sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon
    garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon
    chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon
    ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon
    onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon
    red chili flakes optional

Preparation

  1. 20 mins

    Chop onion and heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Once pan is hot add oil to pan and cook onions until soft and opaque, then add ground beef. Cook beef until no longer pink and drain fat.

  3. 6 hrs

    Add cooked beef to Crockpot and then add all other ingredients and mix until well combined. Set Crockpot to low and cook for 4-6 hours.
