    Gai Lan
  • 1 tablespoon
    Sea Salt
  • 1 tablespoon
    Sesame Oil
  • 2 tablespoons
    Soy Sauce, or Tamari (GF)
  • ¼ cup
    Mushroom Sauce, aka Vegetarian Oyster Sauce

Preparation

  1. 5 mins

    Trim 1 inch off the end of the gai lan stalks at an angle and discard.

  2. 10 mins

    Bring large pot of water (or wok preferably) to a boil then add sea salt, sesame oil & gai lan stalks. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes, depending on preference. Remove gai lan using tongs and place on a plate

  3. 2 mins

    Combine soy sauce & mushroom sauce. Drain excess liquid from plate then pour sauce over the gai lan and serve.
