A delightful, refreshing cocktail. Inspired by the cocktail of the same name at Bourbon Steak in Scottsdale, AZ.
In a shaker tin, muddle sliced strawberries with simple syrup until fully mashed.
Add the bourbon and lemon juice to the shaker tin, and fill with ice. Shake for 45 seconds.
Strain into ice-filled rocks glass.

Cut a wedge out of the remaining strawberry and place on rim of glass for garnish.
