Place chicken thighs in a large Dutch oven or heavy pot.
In a bowl, whisk together the ketchup, cola, and hot sauce until well combined.
Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken, making sure all pieces are coated.
Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then cover and reduce heat to maintain a gentle simmer. Cook for 30 minutes.
Remove the lid and continue simmering for another 30 minutes, allowing the sauce to reduce and thicken around the chicken. (The sauce should coat the chicken nicely and have a glossy, slightly sticky consistency when done.)
