    Pinto Beans, Cooked & Drained

    Kidney Beans, Cooked & Drained

    Black Beans, Cooked & Drained
  • 8 ounces
    Tomato Sauce
  • ¾ cup
    Tomatoes, Diced
  • 6 ounces
    Tomato Paste
  • 2 tablespoons
    Masa Tamale Flour
  • 1
    Avocado, Chopped, For Garnish

Preparation

  1. 5 mins

    Chop all vegetables and add to Instant Pot

  2. 5 mins

    Lightly saute vegetables in a small amount of water until softened

  3. 1 min

    Add water and all spices except Masa and stir well

  4. 1 min

    Mix in beans and stir well

  5. 1 min

    Add tomato sauce and diced tomatoes to top of stew. DO NOT STIR.

  6. 20 mins

    Add lid to Instant Pot and set to pressure cook for 10 minutes. Release valve after 10 minutes.

  7. Stir in tomato paste & masa flour. Top with garnish and serve.

Notes

3/4 cups dried beans = 15 ounces cooked beans
